Partial re-roof, custom sheet metal · Oxnard, CA · September 2026

Shingle on the pitch, torch-down on the flat, and custom metal in between.

Not every roof is just shingles. This Oxnard home needed a pitched section in architectural shingle, a flat section in torch-down, and metal that no supplier stocks: a 316 stainless parapet cap and a 24-gauge chimney cricket, both bent in our shop to fit. We found rot at the wall after tear-off and replaced the decking before anything went over it. City of Oxnard final passed the same week.

Why It Matters

What This Means for Your Roof.

Rot gets replaced, not covered

With the deck open we inspect every sheet. If we find damage you get photos and a price before it is covered, never a surprise on the final bill.

Metal that fits the roof

Parapet caps, crickets and curb flashings are where water finds its way in. When a stock part won't fit, we fabricate one.

Two systems, one roof

Shingle where the pitch allows it, torch-down where it doesn't, with the transition detailed so the two work as one roof.
